Me and my fiancé Tim had just recently moved to Montgomery VT of October 2016 and he proposed to me February 2016 I was looking around for photographers and came across Kat ! she set up a photoshoot in no time .
I had discussed with Kat what I was looking for and when we meet with Kat she was on top of everything . The day we did it was perfect everything was so white witch I knew the pictures where going to be amazing . Kat made everything so easy and perfect even know our noses where all very rosy witch made our engagement photos so much fun !... Also the pictures where done in no time and they came out STUNNING !!!
I highly recommend Kat she is perfect !
My husband and I were traveling from Southwestern Ontario for a secret elopement, just the two of us. We felt immediately comfortable with Kat, as she exhibits the perfect blend of professionalism and a relaxed, positive attitude.
Since we were planning an outdoor, 'wintery wedding', we knew there was a chance that the weather would not cooperate and we might have to do everything inside, but Kat was so reassuring and had a 'go with the flow' personality & approach which convinced me that no matter what, our photos were going to be outstanding. Luckily (and despite the forecast for a lot of rain), we had a perfect day outside and Kat took advantage of that to produce the wintery, romantic images I was hoping for!! (Exceeded my hopes, to be honest)
I would recommend Kat without hesitation!!
This review is a little late but Kat photgraphed our October 7th wedding at Jay Peak Resort. From the minute I talked to her over the phone, I knew her laid back, funny personality was exactly what I wanted for our wedding. She fit right in with my wedding party and I had everyone saying how amazing she was. She let us be natural and caught some amazing candids! Anytime I had a question and called or emailed her, she responded quickly answering all my questions. She truly creates a relationship with her clients and that makes the process so relaxing and easy. I have received so many compliments on how she truly captured the happiness and beauty of our day with natural, gorgeous photos, and I agree! On top of how great Kat is at her job, she has an amazing relationship with everyone at Jay Peak (and I'm sure at many other venues as well). She knows all the good photo spots and made the formal photos quick and painless for everyone. She also made the photos of just the 2 of us fun and intimate. You really don't need to look any further for a photographer, Kat is amazing and will exceed all your expectations. Thank you so much Kat! We couldn't love them more!
My husband and I were traveling from out of state for a just-the-two-of-us mountain top ceremony. We have been together for a long time, so it was not an elopement, just a small service that fit our personality. Kat walked us through the process in the month leading up to the day with so much care (we had barely attending any weddings ourselves so we were very uneducated on how to make decisions) and she encouraged us to make it all about the two of us. We had some winter weather in June on the day we originally scheduled everything and Kat was very flexible and offered to move it to the next day-- SO SO nice and very unusual for a photographer. We so appreciated it and ended up with gorgeous photos that capture what is special about our relationship and we have nothing but wonderful memories of the day. Kat is a brilliant photographer who I would highly recommend. Truly special.
My husband and I were married this past August in the NE Kingdom. Early in the year we found Kat online through our wedding venue's website. She was super approachable and quickly set up a time to met with us by Skype. We were planning our wedding in Vermont from California but the distance wasn't an issue. We immediately felt comfortable with Kat's approach, and even had a chance to meet with her in person in April when we were doing some in person wedding planning.
On the day of our wedding, Kat was flexible to go with the flow and adjust to what ever came up. For the family photos, we moved away from the ceremony site to a location that was more shaded to accommodate our grandparents. We got through the family shots pretty quickly. She even postponed the time when we were going to take our couple pictures so we could actually go and enjoy a bit of our cocktail hour. As family and friends were getting dinner, Ryan, Kat and I snuck away to take some fun couple shots amongst the trees and around the pond. She captured some great shots.
I would without a doubt recommend Kat as a wedding photographer.
I was married last July and have been meaning to write a review for a while. Since my job keeps me very busy I haven't been able to get to it until now. That being said, being an extremely busy person who did everything for her wedding through DIY, friends, and family, Kat was a life saver. She was the only person I used (other than the food/venue) who was not a person relation or close friend. I was extremely nervous picking a photographer (especially because to be honest- I'm not extremely into weddings). I didn't want some strange person putting me into uncomfortable positions and holding a smile for 10 hours. Kat never made me feel uncomfortable and got some fantastic shots. Everyone raved about her! She is an extremely calm, personable, and talented photographer. I would recommend her to anyone with no hesitations!
Kat from Kingdom Wedding Photography was absolutely a joy to work with for my fall Vermont wedding at the Equinox Resort & Spa. From the very beginning she was extremely responsive and patient as I had to do all of my vendor searching online and via email since I planned my wedding in California. It took me days sometimes to get back to her due to my crazy work schedule and she was always back to me within 24 hours of any of my emails to her.
Kat was also amazingly flexible and agreed to shoot our engagement photos at a picturesque Vermont waterfall that was about 3 hours from her home so we wouldn't miss time away from friends and family while we were back visiting before the wedding. She has a fun, outgoing, and adventurous personality that really shows in the pictures she takes. Her personality also makes what could potentially be an awkward event fun and exciting which helps since no one likes pictures with fake smiles because you are uncomfortable!
She has cute twists and surprises along the way that shows how creative she can be with your pictures which is super fun! On my wedding day Kat was extremely professional and half the time I didn't even know she was there which takes some of the stress off during wedding day preparations. She captured all the photos I was looking for plus more....and as she advertised the mandatory family photo session after the ceremony was quick and painless with laughs enjoyed by all!
I would 100% recommend Kat at Kingdom Wedding Photography for any Bride's wedding day photography!
Kat was amazing! She was willing to do anything for a good shot and even brought treats for our dog. She is fun and completely unobtrusive. Her photos are gorgeous and she is extremely professional!
I would recommend her with out any reservations!
Kat is the best! She fits right in on your wedding day and takes amazing photos! She got great shots of us, our families -including a passel of young nieces and nephews- and our puppy! She had great ideas for our photos even when the weather didn't cooperate . Best of all she captured great shots while we were just ourselves- no "tilt your head" "look this way". She fit right in so we could enjoy the day. I would book her again in a heart beat!
Kat was a wonderful photographer for our intimate winter wedding. Flexibility was of the utmost importance to us, since we only had a three month engagement and didn't even have the exact ceremony location nailed down until a couple weeks beforehand. She's so adventurous, she had no problem taking a snow mobile down from our reception site on a cold March evening. Her costs were very competitive and she created a package that was perfect for our needs. All of that helped keep our wedding planning stress-free. The day of our wedding Kat continued to keep it easy and light. The time we spent taking pictures was quick, painless, and actually fun! Kat blended right in to the day, even though we only had 18 guests. Everyone at the wedding enjoyed her sweet and warm personality. My advice to other brides: Add the wedding album to your package! I'm glad we did. Our wedding album is a piece of art that transports us back to that wonderful day. I hope you enjoy using Kingdom Wedding Photography as much as we did!
