Dogs in the wedding & wedding mishaps

As they say in film and in theater: dogs and kids will steal the show every single time. The same holds true for weddings. Gita, Claire’s (and now Claire & Brady’s) dog was the designated ring bearer for their epic summer wedding:

We’re on track so far … the flower girl is walking the dog down the aisle followed by the bride.

But wait, what is that?

Off into the fields she goes. Love it when the bride has a sense of humor.

We’re back on track.

Nope. Ring dog is going #2 on the last turn with the entire audience watching.

I hope you enjoyed this little “wedding mishap” – and as one of my brides famously said “If little mishaps phase you, you’re marrying for the wrong reasons”. I wholeheartedly agree. Cakes might collapse, dogs might poop on their way down the aisle, they might raid the buffet, the best man’s speech might be a disaster, it might rain cats and dogs but if at the end of the day, you’re married to your favorite person in the world, none of that really matters. If anything, it makes for one hell of a story!
