Christina’s Dad summed it up best. “People should be measured by their capacity to give and to receive love.” By that measure, Chris & Kathy are set for more than just this lifetime together. It was so.so incredible to see the amounts of love and joy that were in the air as these two tied the knot at Lake Willoughby’s The Notch House last weekend. Unsurprisingly, they also caught the most perfect fall weekend I can remember.
Capturing both of them getting ready was amazing; Sondra doing everybody’s hair with the brightest smile on her face, the amazing Ashleigh working her make-up magic and Rachel … oh Rachel, we should all be so lucky to have a Rachel in our lives.
Chris & her dad made a brief stop on their way to the ceremony for a quick “first look” with Kathy, who was accompanied by both of her brothers.
Cocktail Hour was a relaxed & fun affair with plenty of bubbly, toasts and so many fun lawn games.
Family photos were a hoot …
… and I particularly love this photo of Chris & Kathy with both of Chris’ grandmothers. While not super posey, it shows 4 amazing women who love each other very much.
Chris & Kathy snuck down to the lake were we caught some alone time and had a blast along the way.
The wedding reception was EPIC. The food was amazing, the toasts were super cute, there was Limoncello, the wine came from the same region Chris’ family hails from (Lazio, Italy), the music was great (Bon Jovi!!!!), the cake (baked by Chris herself) was delicious and the people were hands down awesome & fun.
Chris & Kathy – thank you so very much for having me document your day!!! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and let’s definitely hang out more for Mojitos (or Limoncello). 🙂
