Alex & Joey’s Wedding at The Maplewood

Alex & Joey unabashedly own their guilty pleasures and are easily two of the most easy-going and genuine people on the planet! From getting ready until the reception, their wedding day felt like one big family get together with incredible amounts of smiles, love, and joy being shared. I absolutely love how Alex’s mom and Joey’s dad were both members of their massive wedding party.

Alex arrived in style for her ceremony being driven by her granddad in his classic Crown Victoria.

“How many people can you fit in a photo?” read the note Alex left in the planning doc as we were going over her family formals. Valid question because their families are large and their list of friends was even longer – with ample support, we managed to take awesome photos while still managing to have fun along the way. These guys were such troopers – thank you so much! for making this happen for Alex & Joey!

I’m so in love with this photo, the back of Alex’s dress, the hair, the smile on Joey’s face, perfection.

Joey may have said it best “Magazine!” and I couldn’t agree any more with him.

Alex’ idea: Chuck Taylors, which worked perfectly with their style.

The reception rocked!!! The decor was spectacular and the dessert … oh my! If you ever find yourself in Wentworth, NH, be sure to stop by Borger’s Cakes and Bakes. It is Alex’s aunt’s cake business and she makes the best cheesecake known to humankind. Period. The raspberry swirl was to die for.

Alex & Joey – wishing you a magical honeymoon in Italy and thank you so much for being this fun & cool! You truly made me feel like part of the family and it felt like spending a day with friends vs. actual work.

With much love & appreciation!
