Where to even begin? We met through a mutual friend, Nicole, from North Country Cakes. I have adored Nicole for a long as I can remember and when her best friend, April, got engaged and started looking for a wedding photographer for her Vermont summer wedding at Lareau Farm Inn, it felt like a natural fit. April & Jeff are two of the most amazing people anybody could hope to meet, as further evident in their friends traveling from as far as Europe for their Monday wedding. Yep. A Monday wedding and it completely rocked.
There were lawn games, flatbread (!), and no less than eight different wedding cakes. Jeff sang an incredibly heartfelt song for April, Ben delivered the most unusual and perfect wedding ceremony ever known, two families were blended, and an incredible time was had by all.
Somewhere between Grace Kelly and 3rd Rock from the Sun’s Sally Solomon. Just love how this came together naturally during the last minute room change.
One more reason to LOVE first look sessions.
Plenty of people claim to be fun, go-with-the-flow, and adventurous. April is actually all of these things and then some. From climbing hay bales to rappelling down to the river to venturing well off the beaten path into the forest, this gorgeous bride was up for anything.
Oh my goodness – the decor! All the wonderful loving details that made this wedding so “April & Jeff”.
Jeff & April – I’m so grateful that our paths crossed! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness & adventures together.
Massive props to the incredible team that made April & Jeff’s vision come to life. You guys/gals rock!
