“Where exactly IS our fence line?”
We were asking ourselves that question yesterday when looking out into what used to be our backyard. Four of our 11 acres are fenced in so whenever we’re outside, Shelly and Jake are with us as well without us having to worry about the neighbors’ dogs, cars, or anything really. It is sheer bliss. While it’s not super pretty, it is a sturdy five foot tall fence and we just expanded one section last year. Right now, I couldn’t even tell you where it is.
It is buried under what feels like yards and yards of snow. Which is why I’m blogging about wedding reception finger food because after over five months of winter, we’re over it. O.V.E.R. So over, we’re excited about the prospect of mud season, which by all accounts should be epic. 🙂
Back to pretty food and outdoor summer weddings. Watermelons are delicious, inexpensive and with the right presentation, they look like a million bucks. Love, love, love the rustic backdrop at this Vermont barn wedding.
With that, I’ll continue to dream of summer while watching our snow melt and our fence reappear from underneath.
Happy wedding planning!
