Lis and Chris’ embarked on an epic adventure to find the perfect location for their Vermont wedding ceremony and wedding photos. They location scouted for days, roaming the Vermont countryside, traveling on class 4 roads, and finally came across the perfect piece of property with EPIC views of Smuggler’s Notch. The only problem: it was a private property and they didn’t know whom it belonged to. So they did the only logical thing: go from door to door in this rural community and find the owner.
And indeed, the owner they did find. Butt naked as he answered the door and graciously allowing them to use his gorgeous property for their wedding photos. With that, Lis & Chris had found their dream location and the legend of “Naked Jack” was born.
Lis’ bridal suite was brimming with excitement with her & her fabulous mom holding hands while putting on Lis’ make-up.
The guys were ready well ahead of schedule so Chris dad volunteered to get Chris’ first pair of sneakers (!) out of the car so we could take photos with them.
We headed across The Notch and enjoyed the spectacular foliage along the way to their outdoor wedding ceremony underneath a Covered Bridge.
This close knit group of family and friends was so much fun!!!
A massive THANK YOU to Lis’ dad who patiently navigated the busy Notch Road three times in as many hours, driving us all over Stowe, Cambridge, Jeffersonville, and Stowe again.
Lis & Chris – I adored you from the first time we hung out, had beers, and talked out your wedding for hours. It is so easy to see how much love you have for each other and just how much your family & friends adore you.
Have an amazing time on your honeymoon – your full gallery will be waiting for you once you get back stateside!
With much appreciation.
